Trained across 16 Taj properties in India and part of the team that fed 40,000 athletes a day at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Kanwardeep brings extraordinary precision and scale to Bar Asra’s kitchen. Since moving to Canada in 2012, he has cooked at the Fairmont Vancouver, Lake Louise, and the Marriott Edmonton.

Baldeep knew he wanted to be a chef at age 10. With roots at the Hyatt Group in Kolkata and Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, he brings bold, culturally-rooted cooking to every Bar Asra plate.
